This full-day trip takes you from Chania to Omalos, then downhill through Samaria Gorge for about 17 kilometers. Guides such as Sara and Christina explain the route and keep an eye on the group. After the hike, relax, eat, or swim at Agia Roumeli before the ferry and bus ride home.

Travel from Rethymno to Omalos, then walk Samaria Gorge at your own pace with support from an English, German, and French-speaking escort. Expect a demanding rocky descent, fresh-water springs, ancient trees, mountain goats, and a swim or meal in Agia Roumeli before the ferry back to Sfakia.

Walk from Sapa through Y Linh Ho, Lao Chai, and Ta Van Village with a local guide, crossing rice terraces, bamboo areas, and steep village paths. The 6 to 7 hour tour includes lunch at Ta Van and a bus back to Sapa. Expect about 8 to 10 kilometers of walking, muddy sections, and a group of up to 15 people.
